@alexandrahelenabellydancer
Alexandra Helena is a Leeds-based Fusion Bellydancer whose love of dance began at a very early age. She was first introduced to bellydance ten years ago through her university union’s bellydance society, where she trained under the guidance of award-winning dancer Meilyn.
Alongside performing as a member of Meilyn’s Lola Hips, Alexandra draws on her background in jazz, lyrical, and contemporary dance, as well as her love of all things dark and unusual, to create work that is both distinctive and unexpected in her solo performances.
Attending London Fusion Fest for the first time this year, Alexandra will be performing her own folkloric-inspired interpretation of one of Rachael Redfern’s signature choreographies — the very first choreography she learned with Rachael back in 2019.

Ritualys Arkanox
@ritualysarkanox
Ritualys Arkanox, rooted in Quebec’s Tribal Fusion Bellydance scene in Canada, embodies the untamed woman — primal, contemporary, and unbound. In a world unraveling at its seams, she draws from chaos a language of survival and transmutation.
Her work flows through diverse movement vocabularies, weaving their echoes into a language of its own. Step into the night, where shadows shift and transformation begins.
This Tribal Fusion piece is rooted in a pagan, ritualistic atmosphere, evoking the night as a sacred moment of passage and transformation, guided by the symbolic presence of arcana and totems.
@.sidra._______
Datura/ATS style with zills
Taking inspiration from the ATS movement, Sidra’s love for Fusion Bellydance began in 2009. She has been actively developing her technique since 2024 and has remained consistent in her training ever since, also showcasing her talents in several London shows.
This will be her second-ever solo performance, set to I Cash Radii, featuring zills.

Reena
@Goldkeyguidance
Reena is no stranger to the stage, having worked for nearly two decades as an actor before returning to dance as a central creative force in her life. Her work now exists at the intersection of movement, ritual, and transformation. For Reena, dance is a living act of transmutation — an embodied practice where experience, discipline, and instinct converge.
Over the last year, she has also begun designing and creating her own costumes, bringing the same care and intention to what she wears as she does to how she moves. Each performance becomes a fully realized expression of her artistic voice, shaped by years of stage experience and personal evolution.
Tonight’s performance is a modern Tribal Fusion piece.
@reversehorizontal
Snigdha Poonam is a fusion dancer with eight years of training whose style weaves together the different threads of her personal practice: bellydance, yoga, and Indian movement traditions. Her movement language is powerful and feminine, deeply informed by history and mythology.
In her interpretation of Acid Arab’s Gul l'Abi, Snigdha draws inspiration from the mystique of the Dakin — a female bandit figure from Indian mythology. The piece blends strong locks and pops with slow serpentine arms, torso waves, earthy hips, and plenty of drama.

Murmuration
Murmuration is a group of friends from Bedfordshire. They have many years experience of dancing FCBD style between them. They enjoy pulling together performances that are a little different, and their piece for London Fusion Fest is no exception. There is no choreography, so the dancers communicate to each other through subtle cues, meaning every performance is unique and anything can happen.
@aub4309
Laura is an Italian dancer based in London. Her love of bellydance first blossomed during the first COVID lockdown, a passion that soon led her into new experiences and discoveries. She travelled through Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey, expanding her knowledge, community, and wardrobe along the way.
She especially enjoys performing traditional bellydance styles, while continuing to see every style as an opportunity for learning and inspiration.
Tonight’s performance is A Mejance with veil, set to “Soumboula Hanom” by the Al Ahram Orchestra, this oriental piece celebrates classic bellydance musicality and expression.

Fannochka
Fannochka is a French fusion dancer who loves embodying strong characters — sorceresses, creatures, warriors, and more. She enjoys exploring the many facets of femininity, all with her own touch of sparkle and glitter.
In this dark fusion piece inspired by Medusa, the story begins at the moment she awakens after being transformed by Athena. As she discovers her new body, we follow her journey through a powerful question: has she been cursed, or has she been empowered?
@nikitheo9
All the way from Ottawa, Canada, Niki Theo is a Fusion Bellydance teacher who has been sharing her passion for dance since 2009. Visiting London for the first time, she is deeply grateful to be part of this festival and to connect with the global dance community. Niki first discovered Rachael Redfern in January 2021 and has since attended all of her online classes, finding each one to be a source of inspiration and growth. She celebrates not only this beautiful dance form, but also the worldwide community it creates.
Tonight’s performance explores the theme of overcoming adversity — facing challenges head-on, meeting them with strength, and ultimately rising above them. Blending improvisation with choreography, this deeply personal piece marks an important milestone in Niki’s journey: celebrating recovery after a serious fall in January 2025 that resulted in fractures to her left wrist and hip. Above all, it is a celebration of dance itself and its extraordinary power to inspire, motivate, and heal.
