Luca

From the stillness of discipline rises the rhythm of freedom.

The performance is a journey where strength meets grace — where ancient martial arts merge with the primal energy of tribal fusion dance.

Through each movement, Luca channels balance, resilience, and raw emotion — a dialogue between warrior and spirit, tradition and transformation.

Rachael Redfern's students

The largest troupe Belly Quarter has ever seen. This 20+ troupe will be at our Halloween Edition!

Sofiia

Sofiia is an experienced oriental dancer based in London. She was motivated to try belly dancing at the age of 10 by her mother who has always been a fan of Arabic culture and music. Since that time Sofiia never left this style and kept learning. She learnt oriental dance in Ukraine which gave her a lot of opportunities to study from the world's best teachers.

Sofiia attended countless workshops from professionals around the world. She participated in various bellydance festivals back in Ukraine, the UK, and abroad, where she gained top places among participants.

Now Sofiia is teaching bellydance classes for beginners in London, and is excited to take part in the Halloween edition of the Bellyquater.

Lula

Lula started dancing in 2010 with Teresa La Marca in Tuscany, Italy, and had the opportunity to dance in various locations with the group. She moved to the UK almost 10 years ago and continued studying with Melissa Belly Dance and the Fleur Estelle School.
Her passion for the belly dance is pushing her to learn more about this enchanting dance world - from tradition to fusion - under the guidance of various international artists as well as from the UK.

In our show today, she will perform a choreography that she has created in the sun beam of spring, and on the lively beats of 'Arabia' by Hanine.

Kitti

From Kitti:

My belly dance journey began when I was 13, when my mum took my to my first class and we danced together for many years afterwards. From that moment, dance became part of my life, and it has stayed with me ever since. Together, my mum and I would create our own costumes, and over the years I have continued making them myself.

My favourite style is the drum solo, with its sharp rhythms, energy, and the way it allows me to truly connect with the music. At the same time, I love stepping out of my comfort zone to explore different belly dance styles, each bringing new challenges and inspiration.

For me, bellydance is more than just movement; it’s freedom, confidence, and joy. It has taught me resilience, artistry, and a deeper appreciation for music and culture. Even today, bellydance is not only a hobby but also a passion that keeps me inspired. Whether performing, learning, or designing costumes, it remains a thread that connects me to who I am and where I started.
