Thanks for your interest to dance in our Summer BQ marathon. We are so excited and this will be spectacular!

The St Marylebone School Theatre has a beautiful massive stage, with a classroom for us to use for changing facilities.

All performers will need to buy an admission ticket. (You can sit in the audience when you are not performing) Tickets are £10+fees before 1st July and £15+fees afterwards (Through Eventbrite). All individual members of a group will require a ticket. Your performance slot is only guaranteed if you paid.

We accept MP3 format only

There's no limit in length, however, up to you to decide whether you can keep the audience's focus. It would be nice to have a longer set with dynamic changes/props. Or a clear Entrance, middle, ending.

If you want to do multiple dances, you are free to, just let Vicki know when you are speaking to her.

Update 8/5/2025: If you haven't already spoken to Vicki you will only be doing one belly dance. There's an option to do another dance style for the Talent Part of the show.

This version of Belly Quarter I am introducing a "Talent Show" so you are welcome to showcase another talent ourside of bellydance. We now have poetry, flamenco, flute and burlesque in the programme, we are open to other talents.

Starting Position: On/Off stage

Colour of costume(if you know), or if you know what colour you want the background to be. We will have a lighting technician so please do let me know if you have a preferred colour. Otherwise I will decide for you.

They have 1 classroom

However I still suggest you come with full make up so the backstage will just be a change of costume as it might be crowded

No alcohol can be consumed in the premise though.

The venue is booked from 1pm to 7pm

Show is scheduled to start from 2:30pm. I don't know how long the show will last (I am hoping for a long show that's why I called it Marathon), but Maximum I guess it will end at 6:30pm

Doors open for audience 2:15pm

With interval? (whenever needed -depending on schedule)

For audience/performers tickets,

There's no videographer or photographers planned. If you have friends who are interested in taking photos let us know. In past editions we have photographer enthusiasts take photos for fun for free for us.
