Thanks for your interest to dance in our spring edition with the theme "Challenge". We are so excited and this will be spectacular! We want you to push yourself a bit and give yourself a challenge.

The Pleasance Theatre has a beautiful circular stage, with two small changing rooms.

All performers will need to buy an admission ticket. (You can sit in the audience when you are not performing) Tickets are £10+fees before 1st March and £15+fees afterwards (Through Eventbrite). All individual members of a group will require a ticket. Your performance slot is only guaranteed if you paid.

We accept MP3 format only

There's no limit in length, however, up to you to decide whether you can keep the audience's focus. It would be nice to have a longer set with dynamic changes/props. Or a clear Entrance, middle, ending.

Update 18/1 This show is quite popular so I suggest an average or less than 5 minutes track. If you need more can you let Vicki know in advance ?

(If you want to do more than one dance, can you message Vicki and ask, there maybe space. A change of style/costume preferred)

Update 16/1 One dance per solo performers as we are getting a lot of interest.

About The Pleasance

Getting Ready/Stage entrance

They have 2 changing rooms

Dressing Room 2: Large room located on the second floor behind the auditorium.

It is recommended that his room can accommodate 5-7 occupants.

Dressing Room 3: Fair size room with an ensuite toilet and shower located on the second floor.

It is recommended that his room can accommodate 3-5 occupants.

However I still suggest you come with full make up so the backstage will just be a change of costume as changing rooms are small.

I believe you can get drinks from the bar

The venue is booked from 12 noon to 4pm

Show is scheduled for 1:30pm to 3pm

Doors open for audience 1:15pm

For audience/performers tickets,

There's no videographer or photographers planned. If you have friends who are interested in taking photos let us know. In past editions we have photographer enthusiasts take photos for fun for free for us.
